Auditions for Shakespeare: Un-Scripted
The Un-Scripted Theater Company is looking for a few improvisors to fill out our cast for our upcoming run of improvised Shakespeare shows. If improvising a 2-hour single story long form in costume, on a set, and in the style of William Shakespeare sounds like your idea of a great time, email today for a time slot. dave@un-scripted.com

For tips on how to get cast in one of our shows, please check out Christian's tips on Un-Scripted Improv. (FYI: Christian is also the
director Shakespeare: Un-Scripted)

  • What is "Shakespeare: Un-Scripted"?
We've done Shakespeare before, but this show is gonna be a little bit different. I'm hoping to get to the point where the stories we are telling end up being like Shakespeare's plays rather than just normal improv stories set in the 1500's. Not redoing plots (comedy, tragedy, problem), but rather if Shakespeare had lived longer, these might have been the plays he would have written next. We're gonna work on nailing the language, committed distinct character work, how to have comedy in serious work, and how to make choices that lead us to automatically tell stories Shakespeare would have written. Plus it will be our first show with costumes and a set.
